Over the past two months, the coronavirus health crisis has affected all countries in an unprecedented way. Our 23,000 Omexom people have done everything possible to ensure that the work sites continue to progress in accordance with the health regulations in force in their countries.

In Oslo, Omexom operates and maintains 70,000 light points in the city half of which are remotely managed.

Omexom has strengthened its leading position in the European market for charging stations for electric vehicles by winning a contract with Porsche in June 2019.

In Brazil, 1 % of the population, is still without electricity. In 2003, the Government launched the “Luz Para Todos” electrification programme to guarantee access to electricity in the remote regions.

Omexom has been assigned a four year contract for maintenance and service of substations supplying the airports Arlanda and Bromma with power.

Omexom in Norway is awarded by Hafslund Nett (electricity operator in Norway) to upgrade Ulven substation in central Oslo.

Omexom continues to contribute to the energy transition that is now taking place in Sweden. A good example is the new assignment to build a complete substation when Holmen – Swedish forest company – invested in a new wind farm located approximately 4 km west of Skellefteå.
